Polluting the waters of our sons and daughters

The balance of nature is frail

Wisdom is lacking, this folly of Fracking

Revealed in the rape of the shale

So drilling with haste turns water to paste

And cancer is let out of jail

But those whose wisdom is frail

While countless toxic potions poured

By corporate children, dark beyond compare

Down below demons woken

The Earth beneath our feet is broken

Ignorance and greed, just don’t care

For those who poison our children’s well

I hope you don’t believe in Hell

For there’s a place for you and your kind

Cos when you take such drastic measures

And disrespect our mother’s treasures

Why d’you think she’d grant you peace of mind

Children’s eyes become wise and older

Their elders wisdom, seems much colder

The disrespect for those to come laid bare

And all the ones in unborn time

Will find no reason, nor no rhyme
